Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing pharmacy operations within a hospital or healthcare setting. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective inventory management to ensure the smooth functioning of the pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in dispensing medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Receive, store, and organize medicines according to established procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions to maintain medication safety and availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory and dispensing records to support regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Report expired, damaged, or near-expiry medicines promptly to prevent usage of compromised products.
- Follow pharmacy safety procedures and hospital policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support daily pharmacy operations and contribute to hospital opening readiness activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Intermediate qualification from a recognized educational board.
- Relevant pharmacy technician training or certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.

Work Location:
- This position requires in-person attendance at the healthcare facility.
