Phenologix is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior NodeJS Developer to join our team. As a Senior NodeJS Developer, you will play a pivotal role in leading our development efforts and designing and implementing complex web applications using Node.js.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of low-latency, high-performance web applications using Node.js.
- Write clean, sustainable, and highly optimized code following industry best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and actively participate in code reviews to ensure and enhance code quality.
- Architect and incorporate sophisticated server-side logic into user-facing components created by front-end developers.
- Quickly troubleshoot and debug applications to maintain the highest quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions within established timelines.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in Node.js development and lead the implementation of new features and functionalities.
- Assume responsibility for assigned tasks and proactively contribute to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of extensive experience as a NodeJS Developer, including a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
- Proficiency in Node.js and its core concepts, with a deep understanding of server-side development.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and expertise in relevant frameworks and libraries.
- Strong working knowledge of various database systems, including MongoDB and MySQL.
- Excellent command of other web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery, React, Angular, and Vue.js).
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, and a history of contributing to Agile teams.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
