Photographer Intern

We are seeking a passionate Intern Photographer to join our dynamic creative team. This role offers hands-on experience working closely with video editors, designers, and social media leads to capture compelling content for client campaigns, product shoots, and DigiExpo’s own brand reels. It is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a career in commercial photography, with a strong emphasis on learning and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

- Shoot product photography for e-commerce clients including Gulfura, Minitoys.ae, ShopCubi, and others.
- Capture behind-the-scenes (BTS), event coverage, and on-location shoots across Dubai.
- Assist in digital video content (DVC) and reel productions for DigiExpo and client brands.
- Edit and retouch images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to meet brand standards.
- Organize and maintain the photo library and shoot archives efficiently.
- Support the video team with still photography, lighting setup, and equipment handling.
- Collaborate with designers and social media managers to deliver content within deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- Must hold a valid UAE residence visa (spouse, parent, freelance, or student visa); a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required if applicable.
- Diploma or degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Media, or a related field, or a strong portfolio in lieu of formal education.
- Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras and basic lighting techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for image editing and retouching.
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of work including products, people, and lifestyle photography (via Instagram, Behance, or PDF).
- Strong eye for composition, color, and detail.
- Ability to take direction, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and product photography standards.
- Exposure to drone or 360° photography is advantageous.
- Arabic language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
