PHP WordPress & Laravel Developer

ExertLogics is looking for a motivated PHP, Laravel, and WordPress Developer with 1 to 3 years of professional experience in web development. The successful candidate will have practical experience in building Laravel applications, customizing WordPress websites, and working with Docker alongside basic DevOps practices. This role involves delivering secure, responsive, and reliable web solutions while supporting application deployment, server configuration, and performance optimization. The position is full-time and requires on-site presence at Lake City, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins, while working with popular page builders such as Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery. Develop and maintain WooCommerce websites and related functionalities. Convert designs from Figma, PSD, and Adobe XD into responsive and functional websites. Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services to enhance application capabilities. Manage MySQL databases by writing queries and troubleshooting database-related issues. Utilize Docker to create and manage containerized development environments. Assist with application deployment, server configuration, and basic DevOps workflows to ensure smooth operations. Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Troubleshoot bugs, improve website performance, and implement security best practices. Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver projects within deadlines.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have 1 to 3 years of professional web development experience. Strong working knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework is essential. Practical experience in WordPress website development and customization is required. Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles is necessary. Working knowledge of MySQL database management and query writing is expected. Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and WooCommerce is important. Basic hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies is required. Understanding of DevOps fundamentals, including application deployment and server environments, is necessary. Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control and Linux basics is expected. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be able to work on-site at Lake City, Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with Nginx or Apache web servers is a plus. Experience with VPS hosting and website deployment processes is advantageous. Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is preferred. Knowledge of SSL certificates, DNS configuration, backups, and environment variable management will be beneficial. Experience with REST API integration and web application security best practices is desirable. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000. Please note that the work location is strictly in-person at Lake City, Lahore.
