PHP WordPress & Laravel Developer

ExertLogics is looking for a dedicated PHP, Laravel, and WordPress Developer with 1 to 3 years of professional experience in web development. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in building Laravel applications, customizing WordPress websites, and working with Docker alongside basic DevOps practices. This role requires delivering secure, responsive, and reliable web solutions while supporting application deployment, server configuration, and performance optimization. The position is full-time and based on-site at Lake City, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins.
- Work with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery.
- Develop and maintain WooCommerce websites and related functionalities.
- Convert designs from Figma, PSD, and Adobe XD into responsive, functional websites.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Manage MySQL databases by writing queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Utilize Docker to create and manage containerized development environments.
- Assist with application deployment, server configuration, and basic DevOps workflows.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Troubleshoot bugs, enhance website performance, and implement security best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in web development (candidates outside this range are not eligible).
- Strong working knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework.
- Practical experience in WordPress website development and customization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Working knowledge of MySQL database management and query writing.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and WooCommerce.
- Basic hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Understanding of DevOps fundamentals, including application deployment and server environments.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control and basic Linux commands.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Lake City, Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with Nginx or Apache web servers.
- Experience with VPS hosting and website deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates, DNS configuration, backups, and environment variables.
- Experience with REST API integration and web application security best practices.
