Physician Billing Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Physician Billing Specialist to join our team at our Main Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi location. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM PKT. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate insurance verification, managing follow-ups on unpaid or denied claims, and maintaining compliance with billing regulations. This position plays a vital role in supporting physicians and optimizing revenue cycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Verification:
Verify that patient insurance information is accurate and current. This includes validating insurance plan status, ID numbers, patient names, and dates of birth to prevent claim denials.

Claims Follow-Up and Resolution:
Investigate unpaid or denied claims across various insurance carriers. Address “no claim found” responses by providing proof of submission and escalate unresolved issues to supervisors to ensure timely resolution.

Documentation and Communication:
Maintain detailed records of all interactions with insurance representatives using Nextech or similar systems. Document call reference IDs and summaries to ensure continuity for future follow-ups and effective communication.

Compliance and Timeliness:
Adhere to payer-specific filing and appeal deadlines to avoid claim rejections. Ensure all billing activities comply with HIPAA and applicable federal and state regulations. Communicate urgent claim issues promptly to physicians or clinic staff when necessary.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience in physician billing, insurance verification, or claims follow-up.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for professional interaction with insurance representatives.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical billing compliance.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
