Physics Teacher - Mohammed Girls School

Ismailia Youth Services (IYS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Teacher for Mohammedi Girls School, located in Malir City, Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to secondary students following the AKU-EB Board curriculum. This role requires creating a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and academic growth in Physics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a conducive and supportive classroom atmosphere for secondary-level Physics students.
- Deliver lessons aligned with the AKU-EB Board syllabus using diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Prepare and organize class activities, assignments, and homework to reinforce student understanding.
- Administer tests and assessments to monitor academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement and maintain behavior guidelines to ensure a disciplined and respectful learning environment.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students by being approachable, warm, and supportive.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate student performance to identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience with the AKU Education Board is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with students and staff.
- Residency within Karachi is required to ensure timely and consistent attendance.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience specifically with the AKU-EB Board curriculum is preferred to ensure familiarity with the academic standards and assessment methods.
- The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs. 1.00 to Rs. 2.00 (currency unit as per local standards).
- The role is based on-site at Mohammedi Girls School, located opposite Anwar Baloch Restaurant in Malir City, Karachi, requiring in-person attendance.
