Federation Handicap International (HI) is looking for a committed Physiotherapist to join its field Rehabilitation program in Sawat, Pakistan. This full-time role focuses on supporting the identification and rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the Sujawal district. The Physiotherapist will deliver vital rehabilitation and assistive technology services, working closely with the Project Manager and various stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery. The position demands strong community engagement, training capabilities, and thorough reporting to advance the program’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct identification and assessment of persons with disabilities within targeted intervention areas.
- Provide physiotherapy services and supply assistive devices to those in need.
- Participate in the selection, procurement, and quality assurance of assistive devices.
- Ensure proper fitting and adjustment of assistive devices, and train PWDs and their families on their use.
- Map and coordinate with service providers to establish and strengthen referral mechanisms, including cross-sectoral referrals.
- Follow up on rehabilitation activities and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
- Compile monthly data on rehabilitation activities and update client databases in both digital and hard copy formats.
- Prepare and share lessons learned, case studies, and success stories related to rehabilitation on a quarterly basis or as required.
- Conduct training sessions for teams on rehabilitation topics and collaborate with other project components.
- Liaise with implementing partners and support community social mobilization efforts through participatory approaches.
- Monitor and guide social mobilizers and volunteers in the field to ensure effective program implementation.

Required Qualifications

- Proficiency in Pashto, Urdu, and English, with excellent written English skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience in training delivery, community communication, and both quantitative and qualitative data collection.
- Commitment to accountability, non-discriminatory practices, and respect for local cultures.
- Experience adapting strategies to local contexts and proficiency with software such as MS Word and Excel.
- Understanding of refugee crises, social dynamics, emergency preparedness, and response.
- Skills in project management, including assessment, planning, coordination, financial management, and human resources.
- Competence in information system use, information security, and personal security management.
- Ability to manage public relations, risk management, and operational strategy development.
- Familiarity with inclusion principles, proposal and narrative report writing, and cross-sector collaboration.
- Capacity to work effectively within a global organization and manage workplace stress.
