Pickup Rider

BarqRaftar Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pickup Rider to join its Operations team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting parcels from customers and businesses according to assigned routes and schedules. This role requires punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to company procedures while maintaining excellent customer service. The Pickup Rider will also handle cash on delivery payments, update pickup statuses promptly, and ensure timely delivery of parcels to the designated hub or office.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from customers and business locations following daily routes and schedules.
- Verify parcel quantities and shipment details at the time of pickup to ensure accuracy.
- Manage cash on delivery (COD) payments when applicable and submit collected amounts as per company policies.
- Update pickup status promptly using the company system or mobile application.
- Deliver all collected parcels to the assigned hub or office within the stipulated time frame.
- Handle return parcels carefully and submit them to designated locations.
- Maintain courteous and professional communication with customers at all times.
- Report any delays, customer complaints, damaged parcels, or operational issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure the motorcycle is well-maintained and complies with safety standards.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Meet daily pickup targets set by the Operations team.
- Perform additional rider-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications
- Must own a motorcycle.
- Valid motorcycle driving license is mandatory.
- Possession of an Android smartphone for operational communication and updates.
- Prior experience in courier, delivery, or pickup services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lahore’s routes and locations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Punctual, responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
- Ability to efficiently manage daily routes and comply with operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with experience in courier companies, logistics, e-commerce delivery, parcel pickup, COD collection, or delivery/rider operations will be given preference.

The compensation package includes a fixed monthly salary of PKR 18,000, an attendance allowance of PKR 4,000 per month, and parcel incentives of PKR 3 per pickup and PKR 2 per return parcel. Fuel will be provided according to the assigned route and company policy. Additional performance-based incentives may also be awarded in line with company guidelines.

This is a full-time, field-based position requiring strict adherence to assigned routes and daily pickup schedules. Attendance and performance will be closely monitored by the Operations team, and compliance with company SOPs is mandatory. The role is based in Lahore and offers a competitive monthly pay range from PKR 22,000 to PKR 44,000, depending on performance and incentives.
