As a Shift Manager cover a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and success of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure restaurant readiness before opening for customers using manager walk.
Directly supervise team members during assigned shifts and also assign duties to the shift staff.
Conduct table follow-up to make sure customers are having a good experience.
Provide clear instructions and guidance to staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently during his shift.
Make sure to adhere to opening and closing SOPs.Motivate and encourage team members to maintain high levels of performance.
Ensure staff grooming during his shift (FOH, BOH, and Delivery).
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during the shift.
Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct pre-shift briefing with staff during his shift.
Monitor food preparation, quality, and presentation to meet customer expectations.
Address any issues or challenges that arise during the shift promptly and effectively.
Ensure speed of services during his shift.
Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
Coordinate with RGM regarding Repair & Maintenance issues.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Coach staff on customer service best practices and ensure they are followed.
Assist in training new team members and ensure they are familiar with procedures.
Coordinate with the RGM to ensure adequate stock levels.
Minimize waste and control costs related to inventory management.
Receive and store supplies effectively during shift.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
Coach staff on proper food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
Conduct team member observations and provide feedback to make improvements.
