Planning Engineer

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a reputable contracting firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, is seeking a dedicated full-time Planning Engineer to join its team in Karachi. As a sister company of IZHAR Construction Company Pvt Ltd., MEP Solutions offers comprehensive project execution from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed time schedules and budgets based on project specifications.
- Monitor and track project progress, preparing regular reports for management.
- Analyze current processes and staff performance to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Attend and organize project meetings, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with managers, supervisors, contractors, suppliers, surveyors, and engineers.
- Review technical drawings and prepare accurate material and cost estimates.
- Manage resources efficiently to guarantee projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Handle day-to-day planning activities, including work scheduling and cost control.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in planning and project management within the construction or MEP sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Primavera software.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. The offered salary ranges from Rs. 120,000 to Rs. 150,000 per month, reflecting the candidate’s experience and expertise.
