Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager with specialized expertise in automatic glass ampoule manufacturing machinery. This role is based in Gulshan-e-Maymar, Karachi, within the pharmaceutical glass manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will lead maintenance operations, ensuring high equipment reliability and production efficiency across multiple manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage maintenance activities for six automatic glass ampoule manufacturing lines.
- Minimize equipment downtime while maximizing machinery reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Oversee machine overhauls, commissioning, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Drive improvements in production efficiency and reduce glass wastage.
- Lead engineering teams, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting complex machinery issues.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with OCMI-OTG (Italy) and/or KYP (Spain) machinery.
- Expertise in ampoule forming processes, including burner adjustment, annealing, and machine synchronization.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and cam-driven systems.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and leading maintenance teams effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical glass ampoule manufacturing and primary packaging is highly desirable.
