Platinum Consultant_SAC Planning

We are seeking an experienced SAC Planning Consultant to support and advise our expanding portfolio of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning customers. In this role, you will work within the Analytics & Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice, delivering both consulting and support services to a diverse range of domestic and international clients. This position is highly customer-focused and hands-on, requiring you to lead on customer issues and developments while collaborating closely with functional and technical consultants across the SAP product suite. Primarily supporting the UK Managed Services Team, this role offers a hybrid opportunity that blends ongoing support with project delivery.

The successful candidate will foster effective teamwork by encouraging input from colleagues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, both technically and operationally. Reporting to the UK Analytics and EPM Team Manager and the Managed Services AMS Team, this role is fully remote with occasional travel to client sites as needed. Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert support for SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions, ensuring a strong understanding of both technical deliverables and business outputs.
- Support key financial planning requirements with a solid grasp of underlying financial principles.
- Produce clear support documentation and specifications aligned with managed services processes, adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
- Follow established managed services procedures to meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining accurate records in the ticketing system.
- Communicate regularly and promptly with all stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Required Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience implementing or supporting SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions.
- Proven experience working with SAC’s planning functionality and involvement in at least two full project cycles.
- Background in supporting complex financial planning projects, ideally with SAP SAC Planning and/or SAP BPC.
- Experience working on SAC upgrade cycles and testing new releases.
- Strong understanding of financial principles that underpin effective financial planning.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Functional experience in SAP FICO and Group Reporting.
- Technical knowledge of SAP Group Reporting.
- SAP SAC or SAP BPC certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP BPC, SAP BW, and BW/4HANA environments.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript to support the development of Analytics Applications within SAC.
- Familiarity with importing data and structures from SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA finance modules.
- Experience completing at least one full SAP SAC Planning project implementation.
