Summary:
Playpal is looking for technical researcher to join our rapidly expanding Technical & Product Development team. As a Technical Research Engineer, you will be working with an international team, across time zones.
Responsibilities:
• To apply create, update, and refine Playpal's health-based algorithm
• Cross-departmental coordination to ensure all technical and product development attributes are coming full circle
• Weekly calls with Playpal's Board of Doctors to obtain and identify new attributes that can contribute in the algorithm • Usability Testing of potential gadget
• Contribution of technical and product knowledge to the Business Development & Marketing Departments (e.g. Technical calls with Partners, analysis of Partner gadget/app documentations, information gathering from Partners and Vendors, vetting the technical content of marketing collaterals)
• Run simulations of crypto models on Matlab and MS Excel (using VB)
• Co-ordinate between technical and business team to align the business needs with deliverables
• Maintain and enhance Playpal's Rewards system for end users
Requirements:
• 3 - 4 years of proven experience in technical research
• Solid knowledge on algorithms & technology
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Able to adjust to the time zones of team members and external parties as and when needed
• Attention to detail
• Likes to take a creative, unique approach to solving problems
• Can produce under tight deadlines and stay on top of many moving pieces
• Is able to adapt quickly as things change and evolve in our startup environment
