PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer

Interlink Engineering is looking for a skilled and hands-on PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer to join their team based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This full-time position involves designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting automated industrial control systems. The role requires close collaboration with the R&D and Technical Support teams on various system integration projects to deliver efficient and reliable automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and practical experience in PLC programming and system integration, contributing to the successful implementation and maintenance of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, modify, and test PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic and programs to meet specific project requirements.
- Design and configure Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems to ensure smooth operator interaction and control.
- Integrate industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP to facilitate effective data exchange between devices.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on integration projects to maintain optimal system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support during the commissioning phase of projects to ensure smooth implementation and operational success.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, with a strong focus on PLC programming and system integration.
