PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer

Interlink Engineering is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer to join their team in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This full-time role involves designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting automated industrial control systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Research & Development and Technical Support teams to support various system integration projects, ensuring smooth operation and effective implementation of automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, modify, and test PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic and programs to meet project requirements.
- Design and configure Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for seamless user interaction.
- Integrate industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP to enable efficient data exchange.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on automation and integration projects to ensure reliability and uptime.
- Provide technical support during project commissioning, troubleshooting issues and ensuring successful deployment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specifically with PLC programming and system integration.
