Redstar Technologies is seeking a motivated and organized PMO Intern eager to develop a career in Project Management, Project Coordination, or PMO operations within a software development environment. This internship offers hands-on experience working alongside the PMO team, providing exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows, sprint tracking, project documentation, and cross-functional collaboration between developers, QA, and stakeholders. The position is onsite and unpaid, with the potential for high-performing interns to be considered for a full-time, paid PMO role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking sprints, backlogs, tasks, and release cycles using tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Support the preparation of project status reports, meeting minutes, trackers, and basic dashboards.
- Coordinate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to monitor deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain project documentation, task trackers, and other PMO records.
- Attend and support daily standups, sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings under PMO team guidance.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure project updates are accurately recorded.
- Assist with general project coordination and administrative activities within the PMO team.
- Help maintain visibility of project progress, pending tasks, and upcoming deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Recently completed or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of project management or Agile/Scrum concepts is advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable coordinating and communicating with multiple teams.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Project Management or PMO operations.
- Ability to work onsite at the G-13/4 location in Islamabad.
- Commitment to the required internship hours.
