PNY Trainings seeks an experienced and practical Graphic Instructor to deliver structured, industry-relevant training within defined timelines. The instructor will conduct 2-hour classes focused on graphic design tools and principles, guiding students through hands-on activities and real-world examples. This role demands a strong command of graphic design software, meticulous adherence to course outlines, and the ability to engage students while maintaining high learning standards. The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree or equivalent certification in a design-related field, possesses at least three years of teaching or training experience, and has 3 to 5 years of relevant industry expertise. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the instructor must skillfully manage the learning environment and adapt teaching methods to support diverse student needs. The instructor is responsible for planning lessons to balance theoretical knowledge, live demonstrations, and practical assignments. Emphasis on using professional workflows and industry tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma ensures students gain a comprehensive and applicable skill set. Additionally, the role involves teaching foundational video editing concepts to prepare students for multimedia design applications. The successful candidate ensures course modules are completed on schedule, provides clear feedback on student work, and fosters a disciplined, engaging classroom atmosphere conducive to independent application of skills.
Responsibilities

  • Strictly follow the provided PNY Trainings course outlines and cover all material within the specified timeframe.
  • Conduct 2-hour practical classes that are well-structured and aligned with the assigned course content.
  • Complete all topics and modules within the designated course duration without unnecessary delays.
  • Plan each lecture to balance theory, live demonstrations, and hands-on practical activities effectively.
  • Ensure all student designs meet quality standards, technical requirements, and submission deadlines.
  • Teach graphic design concepts in a clear, practical, and industry-relevant manner.
  • Demonstrate professional graphic design workflows and guide students through hands-on projects and tasks.
  • Ensure students achieve a thorough understanding of concepts and can apply them independently.
  • Maintain class discipline, engagement, and uphold professional educational standards.
  • Adjust the teaching pace as needed to accommodate students' learning progress while maintaining the overall course timeline.
  • Provide practical, constructive feedback and guidance on student assignments and design work.
  • Instruct students in key graphic design tools including Adobe Illustrator for vector graphics and branding, Adobe Photoshop for photo editing, Adobe InDesign for print layouts, and Figma for UI/UX design including wireframes and prototypes.
  • Teach basic to intermediate video editing principles to support multimedia learning objectives.
