Lumida, a tech-forward wealth advisory firm based in Karachi, is seeking a seasoned Podcast Producer to lead and grow its flagship Non-Consensus Investing podcast and other new shows. This full-time, on-site role requires ownership of the entire podcast lifecycle—from concept and guest booking to production, publishing, and audience growth. The ideal candidate will be a creative strategist and hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging content that resonates with a sophisticated audience.

Key Responsibilities

- Audience Growth and Creative Direction: Develop and execute growth strategies for each show, focusing on subscriber numbers, watch time, and reach across YouTube, X, and audio platforms. Own the creative vision including show concepts, episode formats, titles, thumbnails, and overall tone.

- Guest Booking and Preparation: Identify, pitch, and secure high-caliber guests who can attract new viewers. Prepare detailed briefing documents and question sets to ensure sharp, on-brand conversations. Manage guest relations throughout the process.

- Production Management: Oversee recording sessions (live and pre-recorded), direct editing to maintain pacing, audio quality, and visual standards, and ensure every episode meets Lumida’s quality bar before publishing. Document production workflows as scalable SOPs.

- Publishing and Distribution: Manage the publishing calendar and distribute episodes across multiple platforms, optimizing metadata, premieres, playlists, and community engagement. Collaborate with marketing and social teams to create promotional assets and coordinate with the host and brand channels.

- Collaboration and Cross-Promotion: Facilitate guest collaboration through coordinated posts and invitations, provide promotional materials to guests, and build relationships with other creators for audience growth.

- Analytics and Optimization: Monitor performance metrics such as views, retention, click-through rates, and subscriber conversion. Use data insights to refine content strategy and provide clear monthly performance reports to leadership.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Director to align creative needs with technical execution, ensuring smooth recording, editing, and publishing processes.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years producing podcasts or video shows, with proven success in growing at least one show, supported by measurable audience and performance results.

- Deep, hands-on expertise in YouTube-native podcasting, including mastery of titles, thumbnails, click-through optimization, retention strategies, premieres, collaborations, Shorts, and algorithm dynamics.

- Demonstrated ability to manage a show end-to-end, from concept through publishing, with strong creative and editorial judgment.

- Experience booking and nurturing relationships with high-profile guests, along with the ability to prepare hosts and guests effectively.

- Proficiency in analyzing YouTube Studio and podcast analytics to drive data-informed decisions.

- Solid understanding of remote recording and streaming tools (e.g., StreamYard), audio quality standards, and editing workflows sufficient to direct editors and maintain quality.

- Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable owning outcomes independently in a small, agile team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with finance, investing, markets, or private credit, or the ability to quickly learn and engage credibly with expert guests.

- Experience producing long-form interview or business and finance podcasts.

- Hands-on video editing skills using tools like Premiere Pro, Descript, or DaVinci Resolve.

- Established network within finance, investing, or business media.

- Experience leveraging X (Twitter) for distribution and clip-driven social strategies.

- Background in building SOPs and managing freelancers or editing teams.

Success Metrics

Within the first 30 days, the candidate will familiarize themselves with the shows, audience, and analytics, delivering a strategic plan with clear goals. By 60 days, they will independently manage the full production cycle with a documented SOP and a booked guest pipeline. At 90 days, expect consistent episode releases, improved engagement metrics, active guest collaboration, and regular performance reporting. Over 12 months, the role aims for sustained growth in subscribers, watch time, and reach, a distinct show brand, and a robust guest and show pipeline independent of any single individual.
