We are seeking a skilled Podcast Producer to manage the complete production lifecycle of our podcast. This role involves everything from conceptualizing episode ideas and booking guests to recording, editing, publishing, and repurposing content. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to ensure each episode aligns with our brand identity and business objectives, focusing on meaningful engagement rather than just download metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Research:
Develop episode themes, series, and content calendars that support marketing goals. Conduct thorough research on topics and potential guests, preparing detailed briefs, outlines, and question sets for the host. Stay informed about industry trends to maintain the relevance and timeliness of episodes.
Guest Management:
Identify and reach out to potential guests locally and internationally. Manage scheduling across different time zones, conduct pre-interview calls, brief guests, and handle follow-ups. Build and nurture a pipeline of guests and maintain strong professional relationships.
Recording & Production:
Coordinate and facilitate recording sessions both in-studio and remotely using platforms such as Riverside, Zoom, or SquadCast. Oversee the setup and operation of audio and video equipment, including lighting, framing, and sound quality. Guide the flow of recordings and provide support to the host during sessions.
Editing & Post-Production:
Edit audio and video content to a professional standard using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, or Descript. Incorporate intros, outros, music, captions, and graphics consistent with brand guidelines. Collaborate with designers to create thumbnails and episode artwork.
Publishing & Distribution:
Publish episodes across platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and others using hosting services such as Buzzsprout or Transistor. Craft compelling episode titles, descriptions, show notes, and timestamps optimized for YouTube and search engines. Maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
Repurposing & Growth:
Transform episodes into short-form clips suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. Provide content assets for newsletters, blog posts, and sales teams to support prospect engagement. Monitor podcast performance metrics—downloads, views, watch time, subscriber growth, engagement, and leads influenced—and share insights with the Digital Marketing Lead.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in podcast production, video production, or digital content creation.
- A portfolio demonstrating podcasts or long-form video content you have produced or edited is mandatory.
- Proficiency in at least one professional audio/video editing tool.
- Strong understanding of audio quality, video framing, and remote recording setups.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence in communicating with senior professionals and international guests.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple episodes at various stages simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with B2B, technology, or business-focused podcasts.
- Knowledge of YouTube growth strategies and SEO best practices.
- Skills in motion graphics or design tools such as After Effects, Canva, or Figma.
- On-camera presence or co-hosting experience.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for transcription, clipping, and editing, including Descript and Opus Clip.
