Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer transactions efficiently using cash registers
- Scan goods and verify pricing accuracy
- Collect payments through cash or credit methods
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets as required
- Redeem stamps and coupons during transactions
- Cross-sell products and introduce new items to customers
- Address and resolve customer complaints, providing guidance and relevant information
- Greet customers warmly upon their arrival and departure
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies promptly
- Bag, box, or gift-wrap purchased items professionally
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges with care and accuracy

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Commerce, or an equivalent field
- Previous work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems
- Strong mathematical skills for handling transactions
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- A customer satisfaction-oriented approach
