The Training and Certification Coordinator at Poverty Eradication Initiative (PEI) plays a critical role in orchestrating and managing comprehensive training programs and certification pathways that empower staff and stakeholders. This position is pivotal in developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality educational initiatives, specifically related to the SCOR-P certification program. Leading a dedicated team of 20 professionals, the coordinator ensures seamless logistics, materials preparation, and administration of all training activities. The role demands a thorough understanding of curriculum design, compliance training, and effective utilization of learning management systems to support continuous professional development and organizational growth. With over 10 years of relevant experience, the coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end certification process, including pre-course diagnostics, revision webinars, practice assessments, examination registrations, and scheduling. The coordinator meticulously tracks certification progress for candidates, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records to ensure transparency and accountability. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage the team effectively, foster collaboration, and drive the successful delivery of training objectives in alignment with PEIs mission to reduce poverty through education and empowerment.
Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs and certification pathways tailored to organizational needs, with a focus on the SCOR-P certification.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of training courses, including preparation and distribution of course materials, scheduling, and venue arrangements.
  • Administer the SCOR-P certification pathway by managing pre-course diagnostics, conducting revision webinars, organizing practice banks, and facilitating examination registration and scheduling.
  • Maintain a detailed candidate-level certification tracker, analyzing data to generate reports that monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Leverage learning management systems and document control software to organize training content, manage enrollments, and ensure compliance with certification standards.
  • Develop and update curriculum and eLearning content to keep training materials relevant, engaging, and aligned with current industry practices and compliance requirements.
  • Manage a team of 20 training and certification staff, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities to optimize team performance.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content accuracy, relevancy, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure all training and certification activities meet compliance guidelines and quality standards through rigorous documentation and process control.
  • Implement continuous feedback mechanisms from participants and stakeholders to enhance training delivery and certification processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate training outcomes to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for program improvement.
  • Handle communication and coordination with external partners and certification bodies to maintain program standards and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on training activities and certification status to senior management and stakeholders.

Poverty is the root cause of every problem in the society, has no doubts worse affects on human life. Traditional gender roles in Pakistan especially in NWFP, which remains indulged in tribal culture, define the woman’s place as in the home and not in the workplace, and define the man as the breadwinner. Consequently, the society invests far less in women than men. Women in NWFP suffer more from poverty of opportunities throughout their lives as compared to other provinces. Economic vulnerability is a key factor in the rise of poverty in Pakistan; vulnerability also arises from social powerlessness, political instability, and ill-functioning institutions. Corruption and political instabilities such as various separatist movements in Baluchistan and Waziristan resulted in reduction of business confidence, deterioration of economic growth, reduced public expenditure, poor delivery of public services, and undermining of the rule of law. The root causes of current unrest in whole country especially FATA and FRS are linked with the absence of the opportunities for youth in all sections of life in general and particular in livelihoods. Active participation of the youth in decision making and development of the area is neglected and never given a chance to decide their fate. This made youth of the area frustrated and restless and compelled them to take part in the unhealthy activities. Poverty and the lack of modern curriculum have proved destabilizing factors for Pakistani society as these causes our youth to be exploited by religious organizations banned by the government to run schools and produce militant literature.
