Power BI Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our finance team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This role involves owning the end-to-end technical execution of corporate reporting with minimal oversight, while aligning closely with finance leadership’s strategic vision. The primary objective is to build and maintain a robust corporate reporting layer that transforms enterprise data into reliable, decision-ready dashboards. This layer must remain current and adaptable as the business and platform evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development: Design, build, deploy, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards. This includes ongoing modeling and visualization upkeep to ensure dashboards remain accurate and insightful.

KPI Reporting: Query Snowflake to track, analyze, and present key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Business Logic: Write and modify SQL queries to update reporting logic in response to changing business rules and requirements.

Data Integration: Incorporate new data sources into the analytics framework as platform features expand. Manage ELT pipelines using Fivetran to ensure seamless data flow and integration.

Stakeholder Translation: Collaborate closely with the VP of Finance and other business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into functional and scalable data models.

Data Quality and Improvement: Take ownership of data integrity across all dashboards. Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to data sources, business logic, and reporting outputs to improve accuracy and usability.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and modifying complex datasets.
- Practical knowledge of Snowflake as a data warehousing solution.
- Experience managing ELT pipelines, preferably using Fivetran.
- Ability to independently manage data projects with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central as source systems is advantageous, as these platforms are likely contributors to the data environment.
