Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with extensive experience in creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data models. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data transformation techniques. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable and insightful business intelligence solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Power BI reports, interactive dashboards, and data models that meet business needs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring BI solutions align with organizational goals.
- Create and optimize DAX measures, calculations, and perform complex data transformations to enhance report functionality.
- Extract, integrate, and transform data from diverse sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms to support comprehensive reporting.
- Implement data security measures, including Row-Level Security (RLS), to protect sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to maintain data accuracy and improve report efficiency.
- Deploy, publish, and manage reports through Power BI Service, facilitating easy access and sharing across teams.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all reports and dashboards to support accurate business insights.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and DAX.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service for report deployment and sharing.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Proven experience integrating and transforming data from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of data security best practices, including the implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to address complex BI challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
