Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer with 5 to 8 years of practical experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft 365. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly low-code solutions that drive organizational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Create automated workflows and approval processes leveraging Power Automate to streamline business operations.
- Design and manage data models, tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules within Microsoft Dataverse.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, APIs, and various third-party systems.
- Develop custom connectors and integrate REST APIs as needed to extend platform capabilities.
- Build interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT departments to gather requirements and deliver technical and functional solutions.
- Configure application security, permissions, environments, and governance in alignment with organizational policies and best practices.
- Conduct application testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and provide ongoing production support.
- Manage deployments across development, testing, UAT, and production environments ensuring smooth release cycles.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture, workflows, and support procedures.
- Adhere to Microsoft Power Platform best practices related to Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), governance, security, scalability, and performance.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior Power Platform developers when required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, and Power BI.
- Experience with Power Pages is preferred.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 integration.
- Proven experience integrating Power Platform with SQL Server, Dynamics 365, REST APIs, Azure services, and third-party applications.
- Good knowledge of Power Platform security, environments, connectors, solutions, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, and REST APIs is advantageous.
- Understanding of Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID is preferred.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and deployment pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400, PL-200, or PL-600 will be considered an asset.
