Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer with 5 to 8 years of practical experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft 365. This role requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, user-friendly, and secure low-code solutions that drive organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Create automated workflows and approval processes leveraging Power Automate to streamline business operations.
- Design and manage data models, tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules within Microsoft Dataverse.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Develop custom connectors and integrate REST APIs as needed to extend platform capabilities.
- Build dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI to provide actionable business insights.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT throughout the application development lifecycle to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Configure application security, permissions, environments, and governance in line with organizational standards.
- Conduct application testing, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide production support.
- Manage deployments across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture, workflows, and support procedures.
- Adhere to Microsoft Power Platform best practices for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), governance, security, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Power Platform developers when required.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, and Power BI.
- Experience with Power Pages is preferred.
- Solid experience working with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Proven ability to integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL Server, Dynamics 365, REST APIs, Azure services, and third-party applications.
- Good understanding of Power Platform security, environments, connectors, solutions, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JSON, and REST APIs is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID is preferred.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and deployment pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400, PL-200, or PL-600 are a plus.
