PowerPoint Specialist

In this remote, hourly contractor position, you will serve as a PowerPoint Specialist (Subject Matter Expert) responsible for creating realistic and challenging computer-based tasks using Microsoft PowerPoint. Your role involves designing practical presentation tasks, clearly documenting them in SuperAnnotate, ensuring your setup supports the task requirements, and recording yourself performing these tasks on your computer. The tasks you create and execute may include slide creation, layout editing, theme application, and the insertion of charts, images, shapes, SmartArt, tables, speaker notes, animations, transitions, branded templates, business decks, educational slides, or presentation cleanup workflows. Your contributions will support the training of advanced AI models to better understand how real users develop and edit presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Create realistic PowerPoint tasks by designing challenging, executable tasks that reflect real-world use cases, then document these tasks clearly within SuperAnnotate.
- Prepare your work environment to support each task, ensuring PowerPoint is installed or accessible, relevant files, images, charts, templates, and references are ready prior to recording.
- Record yourself executing the PowerPoint tasks on your computer, following project instructions carefully to produce clear, complete, and realistic workflow demonstrations.
- Provide detailed task context including steps, goals, files, assets, and notes to enable reviewers to fully understand the task and its completion process.
- Demonstrate practical software use by completing workflows involving slide creation, formatting, layouts, themes, charts, tables, images, animations, speaker notes, templates, and exports as applicable.
- Maintain high submission quality by reviewing recordings and documentation before submission to ensure tasks are complete, understandable, realistic, and aligned with project guidelines.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience using Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations, business decks, educational slides, reports, templates, charts, or other visual communication workflows.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher to accurately understand project instructions, document tasks clearly, and communicate effectively with the project team.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems, managing files, opening required software, and recording workflows.
- Ability to conceptualize realistic and challenging PowerPoint tasks that reflect actual business, education, sales, marketing, administrative, reporting, or presentation design scenarios.
- Strong understanding of PowerPoint fundamentals, including slide layouts, themes, formatting, images, shapes, charts, tables, animations, transitions, speaker notes, and export functions.
- Capability to ensure your setup supports task requirements, including having PowerPoint installed or accessible, files and assets prepared, templates ready, and references available before recording.
- High attention to detail in task preparation, workflow execution, and quality review of recordings and documentation.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to consistently deliver quality work in a remote, hourly contractor capacity across various time zones.
