PR & Social Media Expert

Upgenics is seeking an experienced PR & Social Media Expert and Content Specialist to lead the company’s organic social media growth, manage public relations and media activities, and serve as the brand’s primary on-camera host. This senior position focuses on expanding organic reach, enhancing brand reputation, creating engaging content, and driving measurable growth across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Growth: Develop and implement organic growth strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X, setting clear targets for follower count, reach, and engagement. Manage brand profiles, content formats, publishing schedules, and daily platform activities. Plan monthly content calendars using tools like Meta Business Suite, aligning posts with campaigns, product launches, and PR initiatives. Actively engage with the community by responding to comments and messages, initiating conversations, and collaborating with creators and partner pages. Monitor trends, competitor activity, audience sentiment, and emerging formats to identify new growth opportunities. Track weekly analytics including follower growth, reach, engagement, saves, and shares, optimizing performance and providing monthly reports to management.

PR & Communications: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and digital publishers to secure media coverage. Prepare press releases, media kits, official statements, and brand announcements. Identify, pitch, and manage influencer and brand collaborations from briefing through execution. Plan and represent the brand at launches, trade shows, panels, and press events, converting these activities into engaging content. Monitor online and press mentions of the brand, professionally handling negative feedback and sensitive situations to protect and enhance reputation.

Content Creation & On-Camera Presence: Develop concepts, scripts, and short-form videos such as Reels and TikToks that align with brand campaigns. Serve as the on-camera host for explainers, product walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes footage, event coverage, interviews, and thought leadership videos. Produce user-generated content (UGC) style material that is platform-native while maintaining brand consistency. Collaborate with design and video teams to provide creative direction on hooks, formats, storylines, and shoot briefs. Ensure a consistent brand voice across captions, community interactions, press materials, and on-camera presentations.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or PR, with a proven track record of organic page growth and successful PR campaigns.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills suitable for on-camera presentations, media pitching, press writing, and daily community engagement.
- A portfolio demonstrating managed social media accounts, on-camera videos, and secured PR coverage or campaigns.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X algorithms, with documented success in organic growth without reliance on paid advertising.
- Hands-on experience in media outreach, press release writing, influencer collaborations, and event management. An established media and creator network in Pakistan is advantageous.
- Confident and natural on-camera presence, comfortable appearing multiple times per week and taking direction during shoots.
- Full-time availability to work on-site at Upgenics’ Paragon City office in Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Reliable commute or willingness to relocate to Lahore prior to starting work is required.
- The position is based in Lahore and requires in-person attendance.
- Monthly salary range: Rs120,000 to Rs180,000.
