Pre-Sales Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pre-Sales and Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, resources, and timelines for control system automation projects and service contracts. This role demands strong technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent professional communication skills to effectively support project proposals and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to develop accurate estimates of costs, resources, and timelines.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment.
- Draft and submit proposals, bids, and tenders for control system automation projects and maintenance contracts.
- Collaborate closely with service delivery teams to fully understand project scope, technical requirements, and potential risks.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, proposals, and project outcomes for future reference.
- Continuously refine and improve estimation processes and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Control, Automation, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in control system automation proposal estimation or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of control system automation technologies such as PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools, including Microsoft Excel and MS Project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working with automation platforms like Rockwell, Siemens, or ABB is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations is a plus.
- Certification in proposal estimation or a related area will be considered an advantage.
