Pre-Sales Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pre-Sales and Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, resources, and timelines for control system automation projects and service contracts. This role demands strong technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent professional communication skills to effectively support project proposals and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to develop accurate estimates of costs, resources, and timelines.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment necessary for control system automation projects and maintenance contracts.
- Draft and submit proposals, bids, and tenders in alignment with project specifications and client expectations.
- Collaborate closely with service delivery teams to fully understand project scope, technical requirements, and potential risks.
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain thorough and organized records of all estimates, proposals, and project outcomes for future reference and process improvement.
- Continuously refine and enhance estimation methodologies to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Control, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in control system automation proposal estimation or a comparable field.
- Strong technical knowledge of control system automation technologies such as PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
- Proficiency in estimation and project management software tools, including Excel and MS Project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working with automation platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, or ABB is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
- Certification in proposal estimation or a related area is a plus.
