Civil Engineer

Predams is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with at least four years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and executing project drawings accurately, ensuring that all construction and design work aligns with the project specifications. Effective communication with contractors is essential to manage workflows and resolve any on-site issues promptly. This role requires a strong grasp of civil engineering principles coupled with practical project management skills to oversee construction activities from inception to completion. The Civil Engineer will lead a team of five professionals, providing guidance and support to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard. The role demands proficiency in coordinating diverse tasks, supervising technical implementations, and liaising with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain project quality. Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and execute detailed project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors to address construction challenges, clarifications, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Supervise and manage a team of five professionals to maintain productivity, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to ensure milestones are met and resources are efficiently utilized.
Conduct site inspections to assess work quality, safety measures, and conformity with engineering standards.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve technical or logistical issues.
Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates for management and clients.
Ensure all engineering work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to design and construction processes.
