Premier American School (PAS) is looking for an experienced Brand/Marketing Manager to develop, implement, track and optimize marketing campaigns across all means. The position involves a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated brand/marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Main Responsibilities

Have a keen eye for new ideas, tactics and approaches to keep ahead of the sector competition especially when it comes to the digital space

  • Drive forward PAS's brand/marketing strategy, campaigns and develop brand reputation
  • Come up with new, out of the box campaign ideas to promote and develop institution’s reputation.
  • Responsible for the execution of electronic, print, social media and content marketing strategies
  • Conduct research to understand the strategies of competitors and the surrounding market
  • Brand Development and presentation to related forums
  • Handle all the marketing and advertising needs of the School

 Admissions

Coordinate all students Admissions to the school including:

  • Initial contact
  • Providing/Sending out Prospectus, ensuring inserts updated
  • Arranging initial visits and tour
  • Keep the Principal, staff and Director informed
  • Ensuring all Registration, Acceptance Forms and Joining Details are accurately completed and collect monies due
  • Following up of all Admissions enquiries
  • To organize and distributing Surveys for parents and pupils as required
  • In conjunction with the Principal’s PA, maintain and develop the school database for students, staff and Director and circulate contact details as required
  • Coordinate all staff Admissions to the school including:
  • To carry out duties as the Principal or Director may from time to time determine to fall within the remit of the post, and attend courses as required

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Preparation of annual marketing plan and expenditure, together with termly submission of reports on activity and expenditure to the Director
  • Branding and exploring sponsorship opportunities
  • Market research as and when required
  • Advertising/ Press releases/ Social Media:
  • Coordination of all photography, production of adverts/ fliers, and liaison with the media
  • Website development and maintenance
  • Regular updates on the School’s Twitter and Facebook accounts
  • Coordinate all Open Days and Pop In Mornings including: advertising, alterations to banners, liaison with staff, mailshots and emails
  • Coordination of the production of the termly school magazine Highlights
  • Draft and design various booklets and flyers to support the Marketing strategy

Other Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Principal and Director with regard to scholarship
  • Work with the SAP – the School Parent Association
  • Archive all media coverage
  • To carry out duties as the Principal or Director may from time to time determine to fall within the remit of the post, and attend courses as required

General Office Duties

Shared responsibilities:

  • Work effectively as part of the Administration/ Office team providing support where required
  • Answer telephone, take messages and monitor answer phone specific to Admissions
  • Building professional relations with parents
  • Liaise with staff, students and parents
  • Keep the reception area tidy with decor and current school literature

Skills Required

  • Knowledge and experience of the Admissions process in an independent school
  • Knowledge and experience of Marketing including the preparation and delivering of marketing strategies, and the effective management of a marketing budget
  • The ability to use statistics and Database management
  • A high degree of computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office applications)
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to priorities and manage tasks
  • An eye for details and accuracy
