The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) shall be responsible for leading and overseeing the company's commercial strategy and operations. As the CCO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team and will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's growth, revenue generation, and overall commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy for the real estate business, aligning it with the company's overall vision and goals. This includes identifying new business opportunities, and target markets, and setting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead efforts to drive revenue growth through effective sales, marketing, and business development strategies.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify and pursue high-value opportunities, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the real estate market.
- Conduct market analysis and use data-driven insights to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty by understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with their requirements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear sales targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed their goals.
- Collaborate with other CXOs/Directors to ensure alignment between commercial strategies and other business functions.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork to drive overall business success.
- Work closely with the product development team to identify new product opportunities, improvements, and enhancements based on market demands and customer feedback.
- Lead negotiations with key clients, partners, and vendors to secure favourable agreements that support the company's objectives while managing risks.
- Implement performance-tracking mechanisms to monitor key metrics, sales performance, and the overall commercial success of the business.
- Present regular reports to the executive team.
- Ensure all commercial activities adhere to legal and ethical standards, including compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Supply Chain or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is desirable.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in a senior leadership role in the real estate industry, with a particular focus on commercial strategy and revenue generation.
- Extensive knowledge of the real estate market, industry dynamics, and key players.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and data to inform decision-making.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
- Understanding of relevant technology and digital solutions in the real estate industry.
- Sound decision-making abilities and a results-driven mindset.
