Premlinx is looking for a Regulatory Chemist / Executive for our US and EU Operations.
Regulatory Chemist is responsible for product regulatory compliance for manufactured and re-sale products. This includes the main chemical regulations in Europe, i.e.
REACH (Regulation EC no 1907/2006)
CLP (Regulation EC 1272/2008 and further amendments)
And RoHS (directive 2002/95/EC, 2011/65/EU, 2015/863/EU), POPs (EU commission regulation no 2019/1021), EC Directives on packaging and packaging waste 94/62/EC and 2044/12/EC) among others. as well as working towards international regulatory compliance: TSCA, DSL, … .
Regulations that concern with food contact are also included: FDA, Reg EU 1935/2004, EC 10/2011 etc.
The job also involves the development and maintenance of regulatory documentation, such as SDS and regulatory paper work for submission to customers. The job includes organization and maintaining of documentation, as well as driving projects to achieve regulatory compliance for new and existing products.
Regulatory Executive reports to the R&D manager.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
- Respond to regulatory requests from customers.
- Maintain and develop SDS for all products
- Maintain the SDSs of the raw materials
- Responsible for product raw material compliance
- keep up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines
- Provide advice about regulations to production team and chemists in charge of products developments
- Teamwork with the Regulatory team in USA on SDS authoring software and on the compliance to North-American and international regulatory systems
- Teamwork on and / or drive projects to international regulatory compliance for new and existing products
- Coordinate with EH&S managers in the production site for the proper usage of the raw materials and the handling of finished goods.
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
