Prepac Engineering Industries seeks an experienced PLC Programmer. This position will be responsible for programming automation for (Vertical Form Fill & Seal machines) and controls systems involving PLCs (programmable logic controllers). The candidate must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with any of the following PLCs: Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Automation Direct, Mitsubishi, Omron, Aromat, Toshiba, Fatek etc. Must be able to CREATE and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up. Create, organize, and maintain documentation related to aforementioned items. Other duties may be assigned.
- 3+ years experience with the below mentioned
- PLC programming and trouble-shooting of programs.
- A good command with EZview, Melsoft GT Developer & GT Designer
- Electrical and PLC documentation reading and writing.
- Safe working knowledge related to electrical and mechanical activities
- Computer Applications knowledge for Word, spreadsheets and charting.
- Experience in a Self-Directed team environment highly desirable
- Training in electrical, electronics and programmable logic controllers.
- Experience with variable frequency drives, inverters and motion control.
- Analog and digital circuitry.
