Presales Consultant – Security Services, MSP & MSSP

We are seeking a skilled Presales Consultant to join our team in Karachi, supporting technical solutioning within cybersecurity, Managed Service Provider (MSP), and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) domains. This full-time, on-site role is based at NASTP and requires working the 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM shift from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in presales activities, enabling them to design and present tailored security solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to understand their requirements through discovery calls.
- Design and develop cybersecurity, MSP, and MSSP solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Statements of Work (SOWs), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI), along with accurate solution costing.
- Develop comprehensive solution architectures and create technical presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase solution capabilities.
- Support client onboarding processes and facilitate smooth handover from sales to delivery teams.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, distributors, sales, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles.
- Hands-on experience with MSP/MSSP environments, cybersecurity technologies, Security Operations Centers (SOC), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), firewalls, vulnerability management, and cloud/network services.
- Proven ability to prepare BOQs, SOWs, technical proposals, and perform solution costing accurately.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling presentations.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- Familiarity with international security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks is preferred.
- This position requires strict on-site presence in Karachi and availability to work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
