- Write articles, blog posts, news, description, and other related informative, marketing and promotional material
- Work with other departments to develop the different content assets required
- Design, develop, and deploy content strategy to drive traffic to company’s website and blogs
- Perform content audit on weekly basis to detect and address issues, and also identify areas of improvement
- Promote original content on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure consistent focus, direction and optimization of content
- Consult with development and technical department to obtain information on products and latest updates
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills (US English)
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience in writing for the web, content management, and Internet research (experience in writing for an IT industry is a plus)
- Knowledge about best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends
- Understanding of principles of SEO
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask
- A team player with the ability to lead and inspire
- At least some knowledge about Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android
