Pricing Associate

Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery Corp. is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Associate to join its Pricing & Business Analytics team at the Bahria Town Phase 4 Rawalpindi location. This position operates on an evening shift from 5 pm to 2 am and plays a vital role in supporting pricing analysis, managing customer rates, preparing proposals, generating reports, and aiding commercial decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI reports and the Power BI Service. The role focuses on ensuring pricing accuracy, supporting business analysis, and improving operational efficiency through established pricing models, reports, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze customer pricing, shipment volumes, revenue, and profitability to support pricing decisions and identify business opportunities.
- Prepare customer pricing proposals, quotations, rate comparisons, RFP responses, and pricing addenda.
- Maintain and update customer rate cards, fuel surcharges, accessorial charges, rebates, and contractual pricing terms.
- Use Excel to analyze large datasets, maintain pricing calculators, validate calculations, and develop reporting templates.
- Navigate existing Power BI reports and dashboards by applying filters, reviewing trends, interpreting key performance metrics, and extracting insights for pricing analysis.
- Access and utilize published reports through Power BI Service, including shared dashboards and reporting resources to support daily tasks.
- Review pricing inputs, identify discrepancies, validate calculations, and ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing information.
- Prepare recurring reports, performance summaries, and analytical insights for management review.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to address pricing requests and resolve data discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce repetitive manual work.
- Maintain organized pricing records and ensure proper documentation of proposals, rate updates, and approvals.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in pricing, financial analysis, reporting, business analytics, or commercial operations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF statements, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with navigating Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of Power BI Service, including accessing published reports, applying filters, and interpreting reported metrics.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, supply chain, or final-mile delivery.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
- Experience working with pricing models, rate cards, revenue analysis, cost structures, or profitability reporting.
- Familiarity with preparing commercial proposals, customer quotations, and RFP responses.
- Interest in process improvement and business analytics.

The successful candidate will be expected to complete pricing requests and proposals accurately and within deadlines, maintain reliable and up-to-date pricing records, effectively use Power BI reports for pricing analysis and business reporting, identify pricing discrepancies and data-quality issues, deliver timely reporting and analytical assignments, and contribute to improving departmental processes by reducing manual work where practical.

This is an in-person role based in Bahria Town Phase 4 Rawalpindi, offering a monthly salary range of Rs120,000 to Rs150,000.
