Pricipal Software Engineer MernStack

Matech Consulting & Outsourcing is seeking a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer to join its dynamic technology team based in Karachi, Pakistan. This full-time, on-site position requires a professional with extensive experience in developing scalable web applications using the MERN stack. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of system architecture, and the ability to independently manage and deliver complex projects. Excellent communication skills in English are essential to effectively collaborate within the team and with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support scalable and efficient application performance.
- Take ownership of technical solutions, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery.
- Optimize system architecture and database design for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improve existing ones.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git and participate in CI/CD pipeline processes.
- Adapt to cloud platforms and leverage their capabilities to enhance application deployment and scalability.

Required Qualifications

- 7 to 8+ years of hands-on experience working with the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Demonstrated expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Proven track record of building scalable web applications and REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of system architecture, database design, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of technical ownership.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
