We are looking to hire a highly efficient AR Manager to oversee the AR department. The AR Manager’s responsibilities include identifying patient reimbursement issues, ensuring that claims, denials, and appeals are efficiently processed, resolving billing-related issues and specially having expertise to run multiple reports. To be successful as a AR Manager, you should be able to manage complete AR.

AR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Managing the AR department in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, contract analysis, and billing.
  • Meetings with US clients related to different work requirements and make sure to meet them accordingly and timely manners.
  • Directs and controls the activities of functional areas through operational department supervisors having overall responsibility to manage AR workflows.
  • Leads with enterprise mindset to drive desired outcomes. Develops efficient processes and documentation to ensure production staff assignments, duties, and training are appropriate.
  • Delivers insightful and meaningful feedback to Director with a focus on opportunities for AR improvement and ongoing staffing needs for operations success.
  • Reviews all statistical reports to monitor trends, determine operational deficiencies and implement corrective action plans as necessary To run multiple reports from different software’s and analyze them Understanding the contract terms and insuring we stay within those terms.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures.
  • Audits current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of billing and collections operations.
  • Reviews and interprets operational data to assess the need for procedural revisions and enhancements.
  • Analyzes trends impacting carrier changes, charges, coding, collection, and accounts receivable and takes appropriate action and/or distributes the information.
  • Builds trusting relationships with internal and external customers by providing confident leadership and timely communication.
  • Planning and structuring the department workflow and staffing. Reviewing financial hardship applications.
  • Overseeing the hiring and training of staff.

AR Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software.
  • 5 years of managerial experience in healthcare (AR) is required.
  • Hands-on experience of Dermatology Specialty will be preferred.
  • Expertise to run multiple reports in MS excel.
  • Excellent English spoken skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
