Prime Protection seeks an experienced Store Manager to oversee the efficient management of inventory and stock within the company. The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control, timely stock replenishment, and effective demand forecasting. This role requires a minimum of two to three years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess solid knowledge of inventory control practices, stock documentation, and will be proficient in using inventory management software along with basic MS Excel and ERP systems.
This role involves supervising a team of five persons, coordinating daily store operations to maintain stock accuracy and availability. The Store Manager will employ excellent communication and organizational skills to work closely with internal departments and external vendors. They will ensure compliance with company policies and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of making data-driven decisions to optimize inventory performance and support Prime Protection's production and distribution needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations including receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to support manufacturing and company activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and stock documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems to update and monitor stock status regularly.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Plan and execute stock replenishment activities based on demand forecasting to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of five store personnel to ensure efficient operational performance and adherence to safety procedures.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to align inventory levels with production schedules and requirements.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to recommend improvements in inventory control processes and cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
- Prepare periodic reports on inventory status, stock movements, and team performance for management review.
- Implement best practices in store management, continuously assessing and upgrading systems and workflows for enhanced productivity.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve inventory issues and improve supply chain management.
- Manage stock documentation, including goods receipt notes, goods dispatch records, and inventory adjustment reports with precision and accountability.
- Support audit activities by providing accurate inventory data and process documentation as required.
