Principal Architect

Construct by MW is an entrepreneurial venture seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead its architectural practice. This role involves developing a strong team and overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and master plan for a luxury resort in Chakwal, collaborating closely with the company founders and specialist consultants. We are looking for a creative and technically skilled leader who combines commercial insight with the ability to deliver innovative and practical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and maintain the company’s architectural vision, design standards, and working processes.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and technical professionals.
- Contribute significantly to the luxury resort’s master plan, including land-use planning, accommodation design, amenities, circulation, landscape integration, and enhancing guest experience.
- Develop site-responsive designs that consider terrain, climate, surroundings, and development potential.
- Coordinate effectively with landscape architects, engineers, hospitality specialists, and infrastructure consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Guide projects through all phases, including concept design, detailed documentation, and construction oversight.
- Ensure design quality, buildability, and alignment with project budgets and timelines.
- Explore and implement innovative materials, sustainable design approaches, and appropriate technologies.
- Lead client presentations and support proposals, project acquisition, and the cultivation of professional relationships.
- Collaborate with the founders to develop the architectural practice and support the company’s growth strategy.

Required Qualifications

- A degree in Architecture with relevant professional registration.
- Proven experience in a Principal Architect role or comparable senior leadership position.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and successful project delivery.
- Experience in building and managing teams across multidisciplinary projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, costs, and project execution.
- Demonstrated expertise in master planning, luxury hospitality, or resort design is highly desirable.
