Principal React Native Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer who is a strong self-starter and capable of taking full ownership of complex mobile projects from concept through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a genuine passion for creating world-class mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated mobile applications using React Native.
- Lead design decisions and promote mobile engineering best practices within the team.
- Build high-performance components and reusable libraries that work seamlessly across platforms.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, including REST and GraphQL.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile features.
- Communicate effectively to clarify requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Participate in and lead code reviews, providing mentorship to junior engineers.
- Enhance development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Implement robust testing strategies covering unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues and platform-specific challenges on both iOS and Android.
- Ensure mobile applications comply with accessibility, security, and performance standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React Native.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern mobile architectural patterns.
- Experience working with native modules and platform-specific APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD tools.
- Demonstrated ability as a strong self-starter with a proactive ownership mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating ideas and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced and evolving environments.
