Principal Software Engineer (.Net)

Cinnova is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer (.NET) to join its expanding team in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing scalable, high-performance software for US-based clients. This position involves working across the entire software development lifecycle and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality digital products. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical planning, architecture, development, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance.
- Define technical, operational, and user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Design conceptual architectures and evaluate solution options based on scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and business needs.
- Lead the design and development of high-performance web-based services and applications.
- Develop scalable digital solutions across a diverse portfolio, including web portals, dashboards, mobile apps, and IoT-enabled applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, system design, interfaces, performance, and engineering practices proactively.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers while promoting engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum teams consisting of Mobile Developers, Front-End Developers, QA Engineers, UX Designers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Work with distributed teams and US-based customers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches.
- Ensure adherence to coding, security, performance, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver long-term solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field preferred.
- Over 10 years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise in .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core / .NET architecture.
- Extensive experience building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Solid background with ASP.NET Web Forms, .NET MVC, .NET Core, REST APIs, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and MS SQL Server.
- Deep knowledge of Entity Framework Core and database access patterns.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms in .NET applications.
- Proficient in React.js, including core principles, state management with Redux and/or Context API, and modern React features like Hooks.
- Familiarity with modern React development workflows and ecosystem; experience with Ant Design (ANTD) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Hands-on experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
