As a Prior Authorization Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the prior authorization process for medical services. This position requires close collaboration with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to secure necessary approvals before services are delivered. You will be responsible for reviewing medical records, submitting authorization requests, and following up on pending approvals to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks related to benefit verification and authorization with precision, adhering to established guidelines, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
- Communicate any challenges or exceptions encountered during task execution promptly to the Team Lead to facilitate resolution.
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve work processes, learning opportunities, and overall performance.
- Maintain consistent performance to support team objectives effectively.
- Stay updated on healthcare policies, insurance procedures, and regulatory compliance relevant to benefit verification and authorization.
- Participate actively in training and development sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and cooperative team environment by supporting peers and contributing to team efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; customer service experience is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of the full life cycle of revenue cycle management.
- Ability to initiate and manage multi-disciplinary projects effectively.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with clinicians, managers, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Capability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
