We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Inventory Executive to join our team at Mart - Markitt. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, packaging, and consumables. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to support smooth production and distribution processes. Additionally, they will ensure procurement records are accurate and audit-ready, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging to meet production demands.
- Process purchase orders promptly and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement data within ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Reconcile stock discrepancies, investigate variances, and assist during audits.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline procurement and inventory processes.
- Prepare regular reports to provide insights on inventory status and procurement activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement or inventory management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for Odoo experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, inventory control, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certification from recognized bodies such as CIPS or APICS is an advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs65,000.
- Work location is on-site, fostering direct collaboration with teams and suppliers.
