We are looking for a skilled and committed Officer to join our technical team, focusing on supporting satellite network operations and deployments. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of networking concepts and must be prepared to travel for site visits and field assignments as needed. This role encompasses managing procurement processes, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire procurement cycle, including processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs), liaising with vendors, obtaining quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain precise inventory and asset records for power spares, technical equipment, and office assets, including stock monitoring and demand forecasting. Assist in preparing tenders, comparative statements, and procurement documentation while ensuring strict adherence to Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) regulations. Support both internal and external audits by keeping detailed procurement, inventory, financial, and administrative records. Prepare official correspondence, reports, and presentations, and maintain an organized filing and documentation system. Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant regulations.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Bachelor of Arts (BA), with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. A strong grasp of networking concepts is essential. Candidates must be willing to travel for site visits and fieldwork as required. Demonstrated knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures is necessary, along with experience in inventory and asset management and tender documentation. Familiarity with PPRA rules and audit processes is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and effective record management skills are expected. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities are critical for success in this role.
Compensation and Work Location
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs37,000 to Rs130,000. The role requires physical presence at the designated work location.
