Procurement Estimator

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Procurement Estimator based in Karachi with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate construction takeoffs, developing bills of quantities, researching supplier quotations, conducting pricing comparisons, and managing bid documentation. This role demands strong skills in estimate reviews and requires proficiency in Excel, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a solid understanding of construction costs and procurement processes. The position operates during the morning shift and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed construction takeoffs and prepare comprehensive bills of quantities to support project estimation.
- Research and obtain supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials.
- Conduct thorough pricing comparisons to identify cost-effective procurement options.
- Prepare and manage bid documentation in compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
- Review estimates for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies in procurement data.
- Utilize Excel and other relevant software tools to organize and analyze procurement information.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to accurately estimate material and labor costs.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement estimation within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
- Solid knowledge of construction costs and procurement procedures.
- Experience in preparing bills of quantities and managing supplier quotations.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
