Human Capital HR Solutions is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join the team at the Karachi Head Office. The successful candidate will manage purchasing activities and vendor relationships within a manufacturing environment, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and timely supply of materials essential for production. This role is vital in supporting operational efficiency and cost control initiatives, contributing significantly to the company’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of both direct and indirect materials, including electrical, mechanical, and production-related items.
- Analyze vendor performance and monitor price variances to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Oversee purchase-related activities, including the development of new vendors to expand the supplier base.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels by ensuring minimum and maximum stock thresholds for critical and fast-moving items.
- Support cost control measures and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
- Coordinate effectively with Finance and Operations departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of procurement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP for managing procurement data and reporting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to address procurement challenges and improve processes.
