Procurement Executive

We are looking for a Procurement Executive to join our team and support the expansion of our POSM business. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of materials, components, and equipment essential for our operations. The position requires spending approximately 80% of the time in the market, actively engaging with suppliers and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in procurement, particularly with mechanical parts, possess strong negotiation skills, and have knowledge of cost-effective sourcing options.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source suppliers for electrical and mechanical components.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure competitive rates and favorable conditions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers while monitoring their performance.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to understand procurement needs and timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to meet project deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements within the procurement process.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and new technologies relevant to the local market.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, ideally within the wood industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier networks.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and sustain supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Willingness to travel extensively, with approximately 75% fieldwork expected, primarily in Lahore markets.
- This is an in-person role, requiring active market visits to source and procure materials.
- Monthly salary range between Rs60,000 and Rs80,000.
